I am posting here, because you guys always know the answers to this stuff.

I have a NOCO Genius 10 Amp battery charger. When I charge it up with my NOCO Genius 10, it charges, and depending on initial state of charge takes some time, flashing up the scale on the charger, and finally indicates a full charge.

When I check the state of charge with my ODBII and Car Scanner app, it indicates 90%. I would expect 100%. Is this normal behavior?

Why am I even checking this? Because I am a nut like many of you that is interested in every little detail of my wacky MME!

That sounds like a buffer like the HVB uses.

I just happen to be evaluating a NOCO battery charger right now, and I found the exact same thing. The charging logic is flawed and terminates the charging too early. I will probably be making a larger post later, but I don't recommend NOCO 12V chargers.

Interesting. Found that with Battery Tenders also, never got close to 100%.
