Twice in the last couple of weeks I've been driving in Intelligent Cruise Control with Lane Centering -- the full Blue Bubble of Happiness. At some point, I see the instruction that lane centering is disabled and I should take control. No biggie, intersections, ramps, odd lane markings all do that. However, in these two cases, the blue bubble doesn't come back -- nothing but an error message that Lane Centering is not available. Turn cruise off & on, nothing. Turn lane centering off & on, nothing. Turn off cruise, turn off lane keeping, turn on lane keeping and lane keeping is fine but turn on cruise and the same error message appears.

Fortunately, in both cases I pulled over, turned off the car, restarted and all was fine again. The Blue Bubble of Happiness returned. These two incidents were both running 1.16.0 and happened in the last couple of weeks.

Sounds like you need the APIM reflash SSM performed.

I saw this happen once, several weeks ago. Typical software glitch. More frequently, I have it screw up my radio favorites, but only the top row.

I had the exact same experience with Lane Centering a week ago on a longer drive (~400mi round trip) and wasn't able to get it to reengage until after I let the car sit off for a few minutes. It cancelled during a section of road that had very poor lines but when the lines returned very clearly it wouldn't come back the rest of the drive. First time this scenario happened for me and hasn't happened since.

Odd, I use the driving aids and ICC every day and have been lucky not to get that one. I had some red flashing alert come up on the drivers screen once that said something about intelligent cruise, but I was paying more attention to driving than trying to fully read it. Not to mention, the alert comes up and goes away so fast that I don't even know if you could fully read it and still be aware of your surroundings.

Same experience. Took to the dealership. They checked and told me nothing wrong they could find unless they'd take it for a live driving test.

I get that too. Usually saying alert or hands on wheel.
