So I let my 22 Mach E GT sit for the last 3 weeks as it has been very cold in Pa. Went to get in it and the remote does nothing. App looks like it’s connected but cannot do any commands. Tried putting power to the frunk wires in the front bumper but no go so I’m thinking 12 volt battery is not totally dead. If I press keypad, it does not light up but small led does light as I hit each key but of course, won’t open. What can I do now? Break a window?

You can try to drain the 12V battery by continuously poking the buttons on the door until they won’t light any more. Or you can call a tow truck to take it to a dealer. Or (if you have an air wedge) you can air wedge the door and use a tool through the crack to pull the release lever. ??

I have an air wedge but it looks like window glass tucks inside a lip at the top. I can try to wedge top of door itself but don’t want to distort door and create air noise while driving

What did you end up doing?
I was using a battery charger to try to activate frunk solenoid. I’m guessing with the electronics setup [because it only works when 12 volt battery is dead] you need an actual dc battery. Hooked up a car battery and it worked. I couldn’t believe it so lesson learned

Many battery chargers and jump packs will not output anything unless they detect a battery present.
