Mach E Extremely noisy when going into D or R

Since the law and regulations do not stipulate the exact noise I really think we ought to have the ability to select our low speed warning sound. And that expansion pack absolutely has to include the Jetsons.

Why don’t teslas make this noise? They always roll around the shopping centers near me at low speed silent except for a bit of tire noise.

I like the harmonious melody that Toyota hybrids play at low speeds. The buzzing is a really weird choice but I guess it gets the job done lol

Elon doesn’t want Tesla’s to make any sound externally. He fought against implementing the Federal law mandating pedestrian warnings. He threatened to make the cars give off the Fart sounds at low speed as well.

They’re not good examples.

So for the 4 months I've had my GT it's been in the shop half of it. Going back in in a week for a chip the dealer put in the door.

My questions is, I swear the car was almost dead silent after shifting into D or R. Now is hums like a TIE fighter. It's loud. I don't remeber it ever sounding like that. Or maybe I just can't remeber. Anybody GT really loud in gear??

I have the same problem, it's like a humming sound, in drive or reverse.

It's amazing some people never realized the AC fan makes as much noise as it does. Turn off the AC, it'll go away. Welcome to your first summer with your MME. ICE cars hide all that with noisy engines.
