Mach E Faults and Warnings

Update: a year later after witnessing it again multiple times now… the message was a red “Resume Control” when using ACC and lane centering at an area it gets to that it doesn’t support.

Newbie questions:

• Is there a way to view recent faults and warnings in this car to see what recently popped up?
• Is there a post here that shows all the known faults and warnings by chance (not seeing anything in operators manual)?

Was just driving home from work on my first ridiculously cold weather day (0 F with windchills at -20 F) where I was watching things like a hawk not knowing how car will handle this level of cold... car was out in an uncovered parking lot for 9 hrs and about a block from home (office is 25 miles away - battery at 70%)

• the car made a tone and flashed a red box in front of me that I thought said Remote Lost (Comms or Control?) or something but it went away so fast that I wasn't sure.

I assume red is bad. But if it's a remote thing not sure why that would be red. Noting my phone and fob were with me. So a bit worried. Anticipating the drive back and forth to work tomorrow will be just as cold so wanting to be sure it's nothing more serious.

It’ll pop up on FordPass if it’s saved.

Sometimes the Mach E is reporting issues it doesn’t have, and clear by themselves, it could be a module crashing inside the car and restarting. It’ll flash momentarily and disappear when it comes back up.

When I was on older software that was updating - I got the occasional warning flash while it was updating during the drive. Some of the modules only update while you are driving.

Where they can look and see if your car is still self reporting anything back as an issue if you pop a vin in.

Thank you much for chiming in. There is nothing in FordPass. And the vehicle report online states it’s as healthy as can be. I’ll reach out on that thread if I see it flash by again. Thanks again.

I have a Launch Creader Elite OBD scanner loaded with software for my Jaguar I-Pace. It reads more alarms, than I have time to look at. Launch has software for the Mach e. It stores all the alarms any time you get a read from the car. Of course there are many brands of readers out there better than the launch. But more expensive!

Or print it out and get it bound at Staples/Office Depot for about $18 but its about 200 pages I believe.

As noted, I started there... didnt see anything in the manual listing all faults -- if it pops back up again, hopefully I'll capture the actual fault - it was quick, red and had remote in it...
