I am starting this thread to discuss differences between the GT and premium models. Obviously Performance in general is a huge difference. The seats are different with the Mako inserts. The availability of Grabber blue is a big difference to me. The magnaride availability as well.

I noticed on the specs that the ride height on the GT is 5.3 versus 5.7 on the other models. Why is that? Stability? Crazy how low the ride height is in general, its lower than my Tesla model S.

I also noted the turning circle on the GT is 39.7 ft versus 38.1 on the other models. Why is this?

Any other discussion on the benefits or disadvantages to a GT?

The seats appear to be more bolstered in the GT. Likewise, the lack of the light gray option in the GT is a letdown. The GT is 10mm lower than the other variants which helps with center of gravity and aerodynamics. The GT has 20" wheels which is probably what affects the turning radius compared to the 19" wheels in the Premium.

Other differences is that the GT doesn't come with the glass roof, 360 surround view cameras or automatic parking as standard. Presumably there's some sort of option package for them.

The Mustang Mach-E trim level that needs to exist is the equivalent to what they used to have in the 1980s.; the 5.0L Mustang LX. Basically, it was the entry level trim model with the GT engine.

Hey Ford, gimme a Premium Mach-E with the GT's front motor please, thanks!

Range Range Range. The 300hp of the premium will be plenty quick enough with the rear wheel drive. I am interested in the range as well as the looks and features. The GT will be nice and a thriller but I am past the need to emulate a x-15 pilot.......just saying.

Give me a GT performance with 360 camera and glass roof and I’m good.

I want the same plus the Performance Pack and MagneRide, but with a $60k base price without these 3 or 4 options takes the MSRP to $70k I may lose my interest.

What will the performance pack include? Do you really think it will add 10K to the price?

Th performance package will probably include magneride, the wheels shown on the grabber blue GT from the launch show, and a few other minor tid bits. I am assuming those wheels are wider than the premiums which is what adds slightly to the turning radius. I really think it won't be more than $4-5k.

At the GT trim level I wonder which of those will be standard though.

I just don't see how mid-five second 0-60 is quick enough when a RAV4 plug-in hybrid will basically match the Mustang Mach-E.

The good news is that the rear motor at 282hp is actually de-rated by 100hp. The base AWD front motor at 50hp is de-rated from 67hp. This means that an OTA update could increase performance as long as the hardware (inverter, thermal management system, etc) could handle the power increase.

Another implication is that there will likely be an aftermarket for performance modules to improve the car's specs over time.

Where did you find the details on options and prices? I can't find that on the Ford site.

Those option prices are for the current 2020 Mustang.
