3FMTK3RM8MMA45555 is shown as delivered on Nov 16 to Crossroads Ford. Mine was supposedly delivered on the 23rd but my dealer says they don't have it either. I'm guessing they do but my sales guy hasn't tried hard enough to look for it, or it is easier just to play dumb rather than to tell customers they are actually short staffed and it will be a few days before they can perform PDI. That or trucking companies and/or drivers are lying and saying to Ford they delivered cars on time so they get paid, but actually still have them in their possession (which sounds pretty illegal) with the intent to eventually deliver it later when its more convenient.

I just got my email from Ford today so I haven't had time to go in person yet. Good news is neither of our cars have warranty start dates, which indicates to me that they haven't been sold yet.

In my case, they didn't. Inventory (and Ford status reports) showed it had arrived at the dealer, but they later figured out it was left at the rail depot because the battery was dead and they were unable to load it onto the delivery truck. Took 'em a few days to locate it, and another week to recharge the battery and deliver the car. This seems to happen more often that one would think...

Same exact nonsense with me VIN: 3FMTK4SX1MME02410….no knows where it is..It’s truly ridiculous that Ford has no clue…I have had 4 hour long conversations with Ford to ‘Figure it out with the dealer’ ending. I’m not completely ready to blame the dealer….Grrr

I talked to @Ford Motor Company and all they ended up doing was opening a case and giving me the marketing number, and the person who was assigned the case was equally unhelpful and told me to call the same number even though I told them it was a dead end. Coincidentally, I got a call back from Ford Marketing since I asked to escalate the issue last time I called and all they could tell me was that they had no idea where the car was and the dealership had better resources to track it.

I also called my dealership yesterday and they said it would be delivered today but suprise, it wasn't. I finally got a hold of my salesperson and he refused to send me the Vehicle Visibility Report saying that it was confidential, but did say that it says that the car was already delivered and from what he could get from his GM and his GM's boss, it was on a train somewhere that was delayed.

From the help of some people in this thread I was able to confirm that it wasn't sold to someone else, but it seems like the car is still lost and no one knows where it is.

Saying that the VVR is confidential is an obvious, blatant lie. That’s probably not the only thing they’re lying about.

I ordered my Mach E on 4/27/21 and after the microchip shortage delays, was told by Ford that I had an expected delivery date range ending on 11/1/21. The first came and passed and still no Mach E. Cue minor panic. Then on the 16th Ford marks my Mach E as delivered to the dealership. Except that it wasn't and the dealer doesn't have it. Cue major panic.

After two completely unproductive phone calls with Ford Corporate and Marketing, they were able to tell me no additional information beyond what was already publicly available on https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking (which now infuriatingly no longer lets me look up my vehicle, insists that the car was delivered, and returns no additional information) and insisted that they could not help me any further.

Now that Ford support has proven to be utterly useless, I tried doing some more research into the vehicles shipment. Palsapp just says that the vehicle is pending leaving Kansas City for an unknown destination, and United Road (made an account to get more info because I'm desperate) says that it will be shipped from Petersburg, VA once they receive it but they don't have it. So both of those are dead ends.

The dealership I'm taking delivery from last reported thar the car was probably still in Mexico, but that was on the 15th and I haven't been able to get them to respond to my messages or give me a straight answer on the phone since then. If the vehicle is obviously not delivered, why the hell do they insist it has been? Am I just screwed since Ford, the dealership, and the shipping companies all have no idea where my car is?
My order from 4/27 was marked delivered on 11/12, but it wasn't. It was finally delivered on 11/26 and I picked it up last evening, 4/29. It went into a black hole and it took Ford to get involved.

Ask your dealer for a vehicle visibility report, share this with Ford. Likely a dead LVB sitting in a train yard and the transportation company doesn't have the jump start capability.

There are definitely some gaps and oddities sometimes in their visibility -- with mine, the car was picked up by a different transport company and delivered to the wrong dealership in another city with a damaged pano roof.... and the dealer had a surprisingly difficult time finding it. Even reaching out to Ford, they were being told that they had no idea where it ended up. The only way they were able to locate it was when the dealership that received the car realized it wasn't theirs and tracked down its intended destination and called them to let them know they had the car.

Interestingly, it still took a while after they finally got the car transported and fixed up before any of the tracking updated to reflect that it had been delivered, and when it finally did update the delivery date reflected the date the car arrived at the dealer so on paper it looks as if none of those delays ever happened. All that to say, in some cases even they seem to loose visibility and/or the tracking systems lag behind, making it difficult to pinpoint the cause when issues arise.

When did VVR say your car was delivered? Mine says 11/23 and Ford sent me the email on 11/29 it was ready to purchase but the dealer says they don't have it.

Yeah I think you need to contact Ford executives and go nuclear on Twitter, including naming the dealer. I'm sure they have a Facebook page that they wouldn't want comments from you on. Find out who is the GM or the owner of the dealership and start bothering them.

It is complete BS that they won't give you the VVR. Have you sat in their dealership and said you're not leaving without seeing the VVR and taking a photo of it? I'd stop dealing with numpty sales clowns. You gotta talk with the head clown at this point or you're not going to see that car.

I emailed them yesterday after my update post here and haven't heard back from them yet. I don't have a Twitter but if I can't get a response via email I may try making one and that instead.

For those of you that had the car that wasn't delivered to the dealer on the date Ford said it was, do you know what your the dealer eventually did find it? My dealer is acting like I'm being impatient and should just give it a couple weeks, and I guess maybe it will just eventually show up if and when someone realizes it been stuck at their lot, on a parked truck, etc. for too long, but I am so frustrated they won't just call Ford or the trucking company or something and ask where the car is. I've already been hounding them multiple times a day so now I am afraid if I raise too much more of a stink they might just sell it to someone else with ADM.

Mine was incorrectly reported as delivered to dealer, then it was reported to be back in a location it went through nearly a week earlier. A couple of days later I got a picture of the hauler as it was driving into my dealer’s lot with my car on it. The whole time between the first incorrect report until actual delivery it was sitting in the final rail yard awaiting a transport truck. ?‍♂?
