I made another reservation on top of my Premium reservation. I'm a little irritated I keep hearing different things. When I'm able to place my order with my Premium and, if it lets me upgrade to the GT, I will do so and cancel the GT reservation I just placed.
I just did the same for the same reasons.

So what is the help desk number to call and change dealers. I am meeting with a different dealer on Monday to place my order and get my price in writing......No ADM from dealer. Don't trust them unless in writing.

BTW...just called the helpline (800-334-4375, 1, 3, 1) to change the dealership but they were unable to do so. They said that I need to wait for the order bank to open then I can call them back. ?‍♂

Also, maybe because I am a software guy...but why waste time asking for the same info when they can easily use the reservation and confirm all information? (name, address, email...) Seems like they are marketing farming for user data.

I called 1-800-334-4375 line and was able to change my dealership. She confirmed my address, email, and order number. She said she would notify me when it was completed.
She never said I was making a new reservation.

If you call, don’t respond to “press 1 for English” and then they give you the option for "Mach E"

If you wait tell 6-30-2020 you will get an e mail from ford to confirm your order. At this time you can change options and your perfered dealer with out going to the back of the line. This info is direct from a conversation I had with Ford marketing. I ordered my car today at the dealer, Ford confirmed the order via e mail to me. I then found out I now had two orders now my reservation and now a car way at the back of the line. Marketing said cancell dealer order, wait tell tues, make your changes and then go to the dealer.
So if you think you ordered your car today and they didn't type in your reservation # maybe you didn't order the car you think you.

Maybe I can’t read but does this information mean that as a non-FE reservation holder I’m able to wait until Dec 31
a) to not lose my opportunity to get a MEE whenever Ford can deliver it (as only 50k will be available in first year)
b)or to not lose my place in line of production priority- dictated by the reservation number?

If latter, say a person with res no 1000 orders in November and a person with res no 5000 in August ->how will they manage the production planning?

Its like you are in line at the cashier and the wife ran out to pickup additional items. You get up to the front and she is not back. You let the person behind get ahead. 5 people went ahead before she came back. Now you go up to pay.

The factories will not wait for you. When you put your order in, that get sent for production. The production orders are sorted by trim and date. The just product whatever is 'next' in the queue.

I have to wonder if the reason it is taking until 30 June to get us those emails is because of the information the dealers have to input. They seem to have access to all of our reservations now. They have to accept them and enter their deposit information. These then seem to go back to Ford to be made available to us via the invitation email.

That document in post #1 is legit. There are a couple different versions of it, but that one is real. This is the first page, there is a second page to that document that lays out the dealer journey, how to accept/reject orders and contact info and such.... not relevant to us customers.

But the document says BEFORE the GT order bank opens. If you want to switch to a GT from a non-GT you need to wait until the GT ordering starts.
Sorry, I'm a bit confuzzled now. Anyone know what is the recommended way to upgrade to a GT from a Premium?

a) cancel Premium and make a new GT reservation?
b) hold tight and convert the Premium when the GT order bank opens?

I'm hoping that Ford takes into consideration the timestamp of the original reservation if I upgrade to a GT.

Have some people already placed their orders? That's what I am confused about.

The people we put down as our dealer has been a dud not responding to any communication to them. I want to switch dealers, but I worry because I have an FE reserved and it tells you to cancel your order to change dealers, but Yes can not be reordered.

If the new dealer could process the order, all would be so much easier. I guess I'm trying to decide what I can do vs. what I need others to do and when it can be done.

HELP!!!
