I didn’t like the look of the 18” wheel option on the Select, so I blindly ordered the 19” wheel option. I happened by a Mach E at the park today…..Are these wheels really this hideous!?

I would have thought the upgraded 19” OEM wheels would dazzle. I saw them on the Ford site, all shined and tires dressed. It was just a reality call seeing them in some dusty parking lot. Maybe I can just run them with my Winters!

Yikes, those be ugly.

I do think the Select rims can be uglier with some color choices than others.

I can't explain why I am strangely attracted to those wheels. They are waaaaay too rich for my blood (direct from Ford that is) and I'm happy enough with the premiums that I'm going to sit tight.

I really appreciate the offer. I have contacted the dealer, and I am going to see if it is too late to switch back to the standard 18” wheel. I only put my order in 24 Jan 2022.

Yeah, I would save your money and just get aftermarket wheels. I'm not a fan, but the 18" stock look better than than the trying too hard ev wheel. Just save and buy what you want. I bought aftermarket, I love them. Sold my OG 18" wheels and tires. I don't even like the GT one that looks like a flower. Nope for me.

From elsewhere on the forum.

1st is the premium & 1st edition
2nd is those ugly 19 inch wheels for the upgraded comfort package with aero cover.
3rd is the CA Route 1 wheels
4th is the Standard Select wheels.

I like the look of the premium the most but the basic select wheels look pretty good.

I contacted the dealer, and was able to amend the order to the stock 18” wheels thankfully. I will shop around for some nice rims, and keep the stocks for a winter setup. To me, the 18” look more in line with the Mustang Coupe five spoke wheels anyway. Those “Aero” Wheels look like plastic hub caps to me.

The route 1 aerocovers (2nd from right) are actually matte black instead of that sparkle silver early prototype. They make the car look like it has plastic Tonka truck wheels, so I took mine off.
I got 60mm silver center caps to cover the protruding spindle:

That looks sharp! I like to see the rotor and caliper through the wheels.

Bah, you don't like the wheels? I'm offended! ? ? ?

I actually really like them, but I think it needs to be the right color combination. They do not look good with the covers off though, so don't bank on that.
