They are really good, much better than some other brands.
Warranty is a bit different than (but comparable to) the US.

Translation of the French page:

5 Year Unlimited Mileage Warranty
Hyundai's 5-year unlimited mileage warranty, available on the entire range and valid in Europe, ensures that the entire vehicle is fully protected for 5 years, covering, among other things, the engine, transmission, steering, suspension and braking system.

5-year free annual inspection.
Each year, your Hyundai repairer will provide a free interim visual inspection of your vehicle's major mechanical and safety components.

5 years of free assistance
Having trouble with your vehicle? In a few clicks, locate yourself and inform your mechanic of your situation.
(added by me: this includes puncture assistance & Transfer to charging station in case of battery failure/out of battery)

8-year battery warranty
The batteries of our hybrid and electric vehicles are covered by an 8-year or 160,000 km warranty.

12-year anti-corrosion warranty
As you've probably heard recently, there's no such thing as the limit factor at Hyundai. In addition to the unlimited mileage warranty, Hyundai goes beyond the limits of unlimited by covering you for 12 years against corrosion of your vehicle.

Up to 5 years of paint warranty
Hyundai offers a 5-year paint warranty on all models with unlimited mileage.

yep about the same as the rest nothing that is amazing almost all other brands are 5 year and 8 year on the battery. nothing groundbreaking.

I do agree. The difference is mostly the assistance, which is rarely offered here.

That said, the 5 year unlimited mileage warranty is much better than the 2 year offered by Ford on the Mach-E here.

The power train on the mache is 5 years unlimited also. here are some of the others. I have driven them all but the 3 new ones coming out this year that are around the same price point.

Not here, only 2 years ?
yep, the euro market is different same can be said on other models here. With leaks now showing the top of the line ioniq 5 costing between 63,000 to 65,000 us dollars. Things sure will be interesting. Also, the 5.2 0 to 60 is not as fast as the premium mache. few people have driven both and while the ioniq is perky, it's not as fast.

In France, the Mach-E First Edition I had was €70,000 ($83,000).
The Ioniq 5 Project 45 cost €52,000 ($61,500) - there is a €3,000 incentive from the €55,000 regular price (the Mach-E FE is not eligible, because above €60,000).

There is also an incentive of €6,000 when the car is below €45,000, which is the case of the base model (€44,000, so €38,000 after incentive) - but the base model is too cheap in term of interior, equipments, etc. The base model of the Mach-E is €49,000 (so €46,000 after incentive).

The Ioniq is my company car, and because I leave in Paris, I'm eligible to an incentive of €6,000 for company clean vehicle, which makes my incentive €9,000 and final price €46,000.

Things sure will be interesting. Also, the 5.2 0 to 60 is not as fast as the premium mache. few people have driven both and while the ioniq is perky, it's not as fast.
Correct, but I find it enough for normal drive (when you want to maximise range ?)
And, to be honest, 5.2 Vs. 4.8 does not make such a difference, does it?

yep can't compare incentives over there to here or warranty both are totally different ballparks.

But .4 is faster, but nope not an end-all. I do agree. In the end when you have about 12 BEV on the market within 5,000 of each other and similar specs. Looks us what sells the car and that is up to each person.

I wasn't comparing the incentives between US and France. I was giving you the prices for both cars in France so you have an idea of their cost (as cars are much more expensive in France than in the US). That was also to give you an idea of the price of the Ioniq here compared to what the leaks are showing for the US (and in that case, it looks like the price will be higher for the US than in Europe - but I also know that the battery pack is going to be a bit bigger 77kW VS. 73kW, so this should have an impact on the cost).
