Thank you to everyone in this forum I really appreciate the honest dialogue. It’s refreshing to see people who love the car but can still be objective. And thank you to Ford for building a genuinely solid EV. As a layperson, I know it’s not easy. My dad worked at the Sharonville, Ohio plant for over 40 years, so I’ve always had a lot of respect for the company. I test‑drove everything before choosing the MachE and for me it was the best overall package the torque, the handling, the way it turns all of it. What I didn’t love was the dealership experience. I went to a “Ford EV” dealer, and honestly

, I would’ve preferred to buy online and get service at my house. Coming from BMW and Mercedes, spending $50K and getting a non‑luxury sales and service experience is rough. Without a new look Mach E for 2027 and Ford’s coming soon truck not looking like my style… I guess we will be breaking up?

Damn had my car serviced 3 times now and each time they came to me. I am 55 minutes from the nearest Ford.

My Dealer has picked up and delivered the car back when done or did the work in my driveway. And they were straight up when buying the car. They'll get a shot at whatever I do next.

For me, it’s range, charging times and capacity of cargo area – – right now I am so pleased with my 2022 GT. I look forward to what they have next and plan on buying a new vehicle in three to four years. The Ford experience has been very easy.

After four years of ownership I lost my first MME to a front end collision, within a week I bought my second one. Would buy a third one in the future if it was available, but it looks that the future for the MME is uncertain. Too bad. Finally Ford made a car that can compete and win with the imports that people actually love and instead of improving it the may drop it.
As for the dealer experience, the buying process wasn’t that great with the first one as they try to scalp me and add bogus “dealer” charges in 2021. The service experiences have been great, as the advisors have been emphatic and honest.

When I went in to buy my Mach e I had an appointment with one of their EV specialists and of course he didn't show up for work that day. Their other EV specialist was with a customer, so I was relegated to the first guy that gloomed onto me when I got out of my car. A nice enough guy but he knew nothing about EV's. Long story short, I leased the car (in order to get the $7.000 rebate) but I was in the dealership for eight hours before I drove away home. It wasn't the dealership's fault all together as Ford Motor credit thought that I was dead. I'm a Jr. and my dad died back in 1986, and it took weeks to finally straighten that one out. First time that happened to me. All and all I'm glad I didn't just get up leave though; I do love my car.

It sounds like you have a dealer issue, not a Ford issue. My local dealer came to my home multiple times for recalls, service etc. The sales experience was quick and problem free.

I’ve bought and owned 4 Teslas. The online ordering experience was easy but when I had questions There was no one to talk to get answers.

The Tesla process to place a service visit online is easy but very impersonal. 6 hours after delivery my 2023 model Y died on a Saturday 2 hours from home. Using the app to place a service visit was very frustrating.

$7,000 rebate? Please elaborate.

Well, before trump did away with it, there was a $7,000 credit on EV purchases. It went away last September I believe. As the Mache is built mostly in Mexico it wasn't eligible for the rebate if you bought it outright but there was a loophole that if you leased the car the dealer did get the rebate and they (hopefully) passed the savings on to the leasee. At least this is how I understood it and I did get the $7,000 applied to the cost of the car.
