If Ford could OTA 200kw like Apple put iOS 11 on an iPhone 4, then there’s be no problem.
Ford engineers eluded early on that the Mach E will be wired for faster charging. They question is will they implement it?

It's debatable. At the time lots of people drew that conclusion from the AMA back in the spring, but the pessimist in me disagrees:

Pessimist in me also disagrees with any interpretation that suggests Ford would have gone to the expense (dollars, weight, size) of greatly oversizing copper wires.

This is overall good in my opinion - at some point in the future they might open up the extra charging capability or range or both. At least we know the vehicle is capable to some extent. I am assuming they implemented something in the vehicle. If they did not implement, they would not comment they way they did. Again speculation on my part.

Yes, I’ve never seen a spill except someone who doesn’t follow instructions and tops off too far. Even then it’s just a splash. However, there’s good reason to stay with the car while filling as we’re all supposed to.

i agree 30-40 minutes will dissuade many buyers. Once it’s below 15 I’ll bet most of the concern fades away.
At 30-40 minutes I can guarantee my wife will insist we take her ICE places. At 10 minutes I think she would be fine.

The main drive I really need my car to hit is the 143 miles between my two places. I plan to have L2 at both so as long as I can make it then everything will be awesome on my end. I got the SR RWD. Hopefully I am not regretting that decision in a few months.
