Hello Mach-E World,

I am planning a trip in a few days. I entered my trips into Power My Trip and I am curious if I can delete some of the charging locations Ford is stating and replace with charging locations I would like to use instead. I tried looking around the app but I have not been able to figure it out.

thanks!

Yes. But it’s pretty buried. Tap on the charger you want to replace, and you’ll get a screen of details. New the top is a subtle text reading “change charge station.” Tapping that loads other stations nearby. Once you replace it, the other chargers will be changed or replaced to accommodate the one you added. You can do this with as many stations as you like.

You can also do this in the car Nav from the trip overview screen. Tap the charge station in the list, and then tap “replace.”

WOW, I've been on that screen but missed "Change charge station". As with many folks, I look at different apps to plan my charging route. I lean more towards APRP however. This is my first long-distance, multi-charge trip since I've had my MME. Thank you for getting back to me. Last question, on one of my legs, I do not need a third charging stop (I would like to have Power My Trip match that of ABRP), I cannot seem to delete that charging station. Do you happen to know how to do this?

The Power My Trip and built in Nav always leave you at your destination with enough charge to get back to another charger. So if it thinks you need it, it won’t allow you to delete it completely. You can drive past it and keep driving, and when it recalculates, if it thinks you don’t need it after you pass it, it will remove it.
