How long does it take to get a VIN# after production date? From production to built is about 1-2 weeks right?

Vin comes with your build date confirmation. It is before the build.

This was my timeline for my '22 GTPE IBSM:
Ordered: 10/21/21
Dealer Accepted: 10/22/21
Received Production date: 01/28/22
VIN received: 02/11/22
Window Sticker: 03/11/22
Production started: 03/19/22
Built: 03/22/22
Shipped: 03/23/22
Est. Delivery: 04/22/22-04/28/22

Ford's stated delivery time for Premiums was 28+ weeks, it's been looking like most premium orders are more on the '+' side. Since you ordered 1/26/2022 do not expect a delivery before august, realistically would be september/october. My money would be you would get a production date in July/August.

Patience is key.

My order for a Premium AWD was 11/17/2022, still no production date.

Railcar is in Montana on its way to Washington. Should be delivered somewhat on time (Ford's ETA)

I ordered a GTPE the first week of July 2021. Build started 1/5. Still haven’t gotten the final built email and the dealer says all they can see is chip hold. Other people have ordered after me and started production after me and gotten their cars already. Most frustrating experience buying anything ever. Hopefully for you your experience will be better but understand there is not much you or your dealer can do and things can take a looooooong time.

My dealer seemed unaware of the park assistance issue. Makes sense that if this is common then there would be a lot of unclean orders and Ford might have delayed to fix it.

Ha I wish. Last update is that it made it to KC and was transferred from rail to something else according to the ordertrack.app on 4/16. Nothing but crickets since then.

I ordered same day as you. Grabber Blue CART1 4X and I haven’t heard anything yet. I’m not holding my breath for a May build, but I will be slightly bummed if I don’t get a June build. It would be nice to get it before fall, but I’m also not willing to pay ADM so I’ll wait patiently for my car. ? Best of luck to you.
