Missing description when receiving OTA updates

Hi all,

For a long while, I haven't received any OTA updates, but a few weeks ago I received the first one and since then another 3-4 updates.

I never received any notifications in FordPass, but every time I see the little icon in the display in the car that indicates an update was installed.

When I press the icon a dialog says the update was successful. When I click "Details" the screen navigates to the "update screen". Then the system searches for pending updates and finally says that the system is up-to-date.

So I get no description at all and wonder why that is? The issue is demonstrated in this video which was uploaded by some other owner. Link: .

Does anybody know what's going on here?

You're in Denmark so things might work differently, but that "mystery" update in Ben's video was just a targeted configuration update rather than new software. Basically some fixes so you can receive future updates. It only happened one time for most people, and immediately preceded receiving Power-Up 3.2.1.

So I wouldn't worry about it, hopefully it means you will get a real OTA soon.

Ahh okay, I guess that makes sense. Would be nice if that was actually stated when receiving the pre-update.

I had a couple of updates with missing description, I think they are minor adjustments, not main OTA updates. You could try to check your OTA version on your Ford account with the F12 method, instructions in another topic.
