Missing features due to COVID

Besides the foot swipe to open the hatch on my 2023 Mach E are there any other features missing due to chip shortages? I heard a story of fake subwoofers and empty amps in Ford Mavericks and it has me wondering.

My '22 has the foot swipe module installed. I enabled it with ForSCAN. I wouldn't say you're missing much. It is very unreliable and is a source of frustration.

Park assist is correct. It’s also been completely dropped from all Ford vehicles next year. Seems those that have it rarely use it.

My 23 premium awd had parking assist when I test drove it but has since lost it. I haven’t been able to figure out how to turn it back in with Forscan without it throwing a lot of codes.

That's interesting. When I test drove my '23 job 1 Premium AWD, my sales person told me that the park assistant had been axed after the first year's model.

I'd love to find out if and how it could be turned on in our '23s!

Yeah, mine was a custom order that the buyer then failed to pick up...it came with both the evse and the free 3 yrs of bluecruise so I suspect maybe it was built in a window where it was exempt from the main production line cuts (that is just speculation) but I know for sure it had the parking assist at first.

I know a lot of people think that the foot swipe to open isn’t that great but I like it. I have it on a 2017 Edge and it works fine. I really missed it today on my MME. It was raining and I was holding an umbrella and cake. It would have been nice to swipe my foot to open the hatch.

No longer have the MachE but we have that feature on our Outlander PHEV and I use it all the time! I would not buy an SUV without it!

Yeah, what happened to that? I remembered getting like a $200 discount on the car purchase and it could be purchased and installed later when supply chains normalized. Never happened, right?
