Wife and son are both loving them. Wife's other one gets here in a week or so...means we won't have the twins anymore but looking forward to the Vapor Blue. She said something funny yesterday. Didn't realize there was no sunroof in the select we have for now. We haven't had a car without a glass roof in 15 years at least. The premium solves that.

In August, I purchased a low-mileage, used, Job 1 2021 Premium w/ extended battery, and I've loved every minute of it.
  • I've already put 7,000 miles on it (2 decent size road trips and a lot of traveling to/from kiddo's hockey practice)
  • BlueCruise is amazing, especially in heavy, slow big city traffic
  • It drives well (it's not an Audi, but for a big heavy machine, it's smooth, corners well, and quick)
  • It looks damn good
  • I rented a Tesla before I got the MME just to experience what an EV is like. Driving a Tesla is like driving a calculator. Driving a MME is driving a car. Tesla's are wonderfully engineered, but feel like it. The MME has personality. I've owned 3 Mazdas in my life, and there's a reason why it's considered a fun car/brand - they drive and feel "fun." The MME has the same personality.
It's the favorite vehicle I've ever owned. I loved my Audi's quattro, and I had a Mercedes GL350 Diesel that was a dream to drive (but it broke down all the time and I had to dump it.)

Is it buggy? Yes. Are we driving something from the future? Yes. Is that awesome? Absolutely.

I am still waiting for the "issue" to happen to me, but it is what it is. Each day it does not happen is another day Ford is getting better at dealing with it.

I would have a hard time saying this is my favorite vehicle. I have a bias toward a gas-guzzling, loud-as-heck car that has insane impact harshness (thanks to having metal suspension bearings). That said, the MME is the best pure street car I have ever owned. I will some day pack the waders in the car and see if it works as a duck truk. Maybe if it does, I’ll clean up the K/5 and get rid of it since it’s a C#@vy (and I don’t say that because I’m a Ford guy). ??

The best way I can describe it is, it feels like the land equivalent of driving a fighter jet. Funny statement, I know, since reportedly the Mustang monicker was meant to pay homage to the P-51 Mustang fighter plane... but the car feels incredibly nimble at both low and high speeds, and it's incredibly responsive.
In keeping with this idea, I note that the speedometer indicates "Ground speed"! :)

I'll chime in with my positive story. Had an awesome dealership experience, drive home, and first detailing that I wrote about here with some pictures if you care to read.

Picked my MME up on 10/22/22 and have been thrilled with it ever since. I absolutely loathe being in a car and hate driving - was a passenger in a bad wreck as a teen and it has spooked me ever since. I know it's all in my head, but I don't feel safe in vehicles that sit lower. I actually like being in the MME and driving it, so that's saying a LOT for me. I went from a BMW X1 to the MME and honestly, I feel like the MME is more of a "luxury" vehicle than it was. The MME is just more comfortable and I feel safer in it. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an EV.

I had always wanted a Fox Body Mustang as a teenager in the early 90's, but didn't want to sit low. The MME is truly a win for me, sitting up higher AND being able to have a "Mustang." I haven't let the hubby drive it yet and I've insisted on driving us around town. I think I've let him drive us in his Tesla maybe twice since we picked up the MME. ? Long story short, I'm very happy with it so far!!
