We’ve had our Mach E for a little over a month, and have had only 2 times where it has charged through the night. We are using a 240v plug, and the adapter is flush into the bed on the mobile charger that was supplied with the car.

Sometimes, when we walk into the garage with the key, the charger will kick back on, but goes back to paused with an Amber light after a couple minutes.

Our city is light on rapid chargers around town, so this is really a huge hassle. We took it to the dealer, and they didn’t really have an answer for us.

And you clicked on "Details" and tried to resume charging?

based on what that says, it must be getting too hot. It’s been over 100 degrees in our area for the last few weeks, and there’s not much I can do about my garage temp
Not all EVSEs have the same environmental limits. Though the bundled mobile charger is rated to operate at up to 122F (which is the high end of what's currently available), using an infrared thermometer I found that it would slightly exceed that temperature and then the amber light would turn on while it slowed things down so that it could cool back down. This would repeat throughout the overnight charge event.

Since I noticed that happening in late May and it wasn't even technically summer yet, my reaction was to immediately go out and buy the Ford Connected Charge Station. I'd been planning to do that anyway. Or to get the ChargePoint Home Flex. Anyway, I got the FCCS and since installing it a month ago, charging has been issue free so far.
