I have been trying to charge my car all day plugging the mobile charger into a 110V outlet but the charge keeps cutting out after 2 minutes. I’ll plug in the car, it flashes blue, and proceeds to charge but then 2 minutes later I’ll receive a message that it is plugged in but not charging. Unplugging the charger from the outlet and re-inserting it will resume the charge but only for another 2 minutes.

The outlet is outside exposed to the elements. Currently it is -10C. I have plugged other accessories into the outlet and they charge fine so I don’t believe the outlet is the problem. I have been using this combination of charger and outlet for a couple of months with no problems previously.

Any idea what could be causing this?

Is the short 120v AC plug FULLY seated in the EVSE brick? (it should be completely flush). It's a somewhat known issue that the plug really needs to be fully inserted or it'll result in charging errors. Ford designed it to have a fairly tight fit (on purpose) because they realized that people will hang this thing from the wall rather than use the mounting bracket ... and they didn't want the weight of it to loosen the connection.

Yes it is completely flush. And like I said never had an error until today.

The lights are Blue, Pulsing when initially plugged in. When the charge cuts off the lights go off. I tried plugging it in again and this time the charge has held for about 20 minutes so far. But the car is eerily quiet. I have never heard it this quiet when charging, which could mean it is receiving very few amps from the outlet?

No lights = no power. Me thinks you have an intermittent connection someplace.

It could be in the charger itself, can you power from a different circuit to check?

Intermittent connection sounds reasonable. I wish I could test it from a different circuit but the next closest one is 100 feet away. Might drive into town tomorrow and test it there. Thanks for your help.
