About average for an Audi. :) You can buy a 2021 Etron SUV for about half the MSRP on a new one.

Yes I've read they have some major issues. I admit the car really gets my blood pumping (I even like the baby poop paint color) but I'd only lease one.
Back in 2021, Audi was offering incredible discounts on the E-Tron, I believe it was in excess of $10,000 off MSRP. And MSRP was not what it is today with the Q8 E-Tron rebranding. Some people went with the 2021 E-Tron over the 2021 Premium Mach-E because the price wasn’t all that higher.

Geez. $90k for a Model X plaid?

Gets a guy thinking for sure. ? Could pick my kids up at school in an SUV that’s faster than any Ferrari.

Yes, ran across 2 Audi eTron owners while charging and the '21 & '22 have had major issues - both had safety issues - one would shift into reverse instead of drive. The other had an acceleration issue that crashed into their garage wall.
At least their HVBJB isn't failing.

At minimum it is likely to rule out price increases.
Agree - after 2 MME price drops and one Lightning price drop in 2023, I'd say Ford is cutting it to the bone...

By the time the inevitable committees at Ford can determine to do anything, the new Model 3 will be released here in the U.S. (end of month.)

Will the new 3 have the same old price tag currently ?

Or will it be a "premium" priced version ?

Used Xs must surely take a huge drop in value, and become a consideration.

With Tesla you never know. They price their cars at "market value." Demand goes up, price goes up, demand down, price goes down. Kind of like Amazon. My best advice is that if you're happy with the current price then buy it and don't look back.

The danger is with the extreme price games they’ve been playing this year……. People may be trained to wait instead of buying now.

$50,000 price drop on a model x plaid so far this year is crazy.

It also really burns the existing owners by crushing their resale values.

Most of that has to do with EV market crashing and not Tesla. MME can trade above MSRP end of 22. Dealer sell them with markups. Now, you get 60% trade value with the car. I doubt the market will change as drastically again unless there is a war break out and cut oil production to half or something.
