That was the second incident in as many months at the exact same boat ramp — both while following the GPS.

It always amazes me when people don't carefully check a boat ramp ahead of time, and take precautions. It's not unheard of for a vehicle to slide, with all tires locked, down a slick ramp. When I launch with our 2013 F-150, I put it in 4x4 mode just before backing down. I sometimes turn on the rear locker also, if the ramp looked slick. I sometimes use wheel chocks also. And make sure that if the ramp is steep, there is always a driver behind the wheel of the vehicle.

Regarding saltwater comments, how does the road salt on the streets during winter time in snow states affect the Mach-E underbody / battery in the long run?
