Wow. So really its like an $18k difference from what you would have paid. Because you cannot benefit from the $7,500 tax credit on a non-FCTP used vehicle.
That's about 103K miles of driving an ice car assuming 20mpg and $3.50 a gallon. That doesn't even include all the money you would save on your home electric bill from L2 or the occasional L3 road quick charge.

Crazy

There's the one that the guy joined the forum yesterday and posted for sale yesterday. A used GT with 8,600 mi and he wants 10K over sticker. Plus you lose the tax credit so 17500 over a standard GT MSRP price. It got moved to the vehicles for sale titled "So I'm selling my GT =(" .

I think many people don't care what they pay for vehicles. And many are clueless.
This. There a contingent that only care about monthly payments no matter how they get screwed.

Carvana.com just offered me $65k for my MME GT with 3200 miles. Up from the $63k offer when it was basically brand new. It has a black painted roof and the 360/Bluecruise option. I have a decision to make. All in with sales tax and all I am at $66,200, so it would be over $5k profit counting the $7500 tax rebate.

If I KNEW Ford would, or would not, do something about the 5-second thing it would be helpful.

These prices are essentially book value, have a look. This is a 21 Premium ER AWD with 5000 miles…..current retail book.
