Today I received three notifications on my FordPass app for system faults.
1. Antilock Brake Fault
2. Restraints Indicator Lamp Warning
3. Tire Pressure Monitor System Warning
There was nothing showing on the car, just in the app. I contacted the dealership and they said they could see the faults in their system as well. So I took the car to the dealership and they are going to look at it tomorrow (hopefully). My questions… Has anyone else had these issues and gone through the dealership for them to be resolved? I saw a couple of threads regarding these faults but they were a few months ago and nothing solid on using dealerships. And two, any specific things I should be watching for as far as what the dealership is doing? I read all the horror stories about people having their car at the dealership for weeks and weeks and I am more than nervous. The dealership gave me a rental and I have paperwork with dates and exactly what they plan to do, look at, etc. However, this is also the first time I have dealt with a dealership for a vehicle as I normally purchase used and go through my own mechanic.
