I just had the 40,000 mi service done last Wednesday. Today, when I was driving around, I noticed a faint “barking” sound. It sounded like it was off in the distance, so I disregarded it. I then heard it again later. It literally sounds like a dog going “arf “ one time when it occurs. I’ve noticed that it occurs under the following scenarios:
- The vehicle is at a complete stop and I begin to accelerate (one “arf “).
- I’m driving along and slow down (I use one pedal drive, so this could be simply letting up a bit on the accelerator). Again, just one “arf “.
I don’t own a dog, so I’m sure there’s not an animal back there. Anyone have any ideas?
