My voice command button now does nothing

My voice command button now does nothing! Wanted to make a call, hit the steering wheel button and....no response at all. Has anyone else had this happen since I have never seen this issue discussed before.

Are you possibly in the midst of the 1.7.1 update? Many strange things have been reported with that. Have you tried a Sync reset?

I've had it happen once about two weeks ago. I just rebooted the Sync system and it started to work. I could not get the Ford voice to come up, or my CarPlay, button just did absolutely nothing.

Never had that happen. I have 1.7.1 now.
