Pretty sure my updated order number, FAE:91000010, is not an accurate reflection of how many adapters Ford need to get and distribute. ?Around 120,000 I think. At least that was the largest order number I've seen posted so far.
Lots of folks are blaming Tesla. Apparently Ford had a deal for Tesla to produce them. Honestly, I don't know anything about that. Tesla didn't tell me they'd send me an adapter. Ford did. I'd be just as happy if Ford called up A2Z and ordered them from there.
Ordered mine in March and was so far down the waitlist it kept getting delayed. My ETA now is also October. The Lectron Vortex is looking really tempting right now. Currently 50 bucks off here. Anyone who can share their experirnce with this adapter or other third parties? My latest update

Rt28/Pa Turnpike exit to Breezwood is about 128 miles where EA CCS stations exists at Sheetz. Breezwood to Carlisle, Pa where another Sheetz store has EA stations is about 80 miles. Another 100 miles to Philadephia. Good luck.Found out I need to make a road trip to Philly (300+ miles each way) at the end of this week. I looked at maps showing CCS DCFCās between here and there and I see some areas that donāt make my āassume the worstā paranoia feel good.
Still no adapter from Ford, and A2Z would take at least a month to get. Ended up ordering a lecton vortex from Amazon with 1 day delivery.
Having those extra few SC options will make me feel better.
PlugShare thinks there are only NACS and a rivian only CCS at Breezewood. There is an EA at Bedford I could go to 80% at, then hit EA in Carlisle. The stretch from Carlisle to Philly is mostly flat so should be more efficient.Rt28/Pa Turnpike exit to Breezwood is about 128 miles where EA CCS stations exists at Sheetz. just what everyone needs, another email telling them nothing...They could create a schedule for auto-sending emails and keep that going for awhile.

However, I like to be prepared in case things go wrong. Having the SC adapter gives me that backup.
You would have to get Tesla to authorize them, and that is not happening quickly. Musk is too much of a control freak, too sure he is always right. All they have to do is authorize them.
Ordered 1 month laterā¦same āpromiseā date.??ānot suppressed glad i have my a2z adapter
