Navigation wonky after 1.7.1 update

Ever since the 1.7.1 update, I have had a few navigation anomalies I thought I'd share.

1. Twice when going off route it took 30 secs ish to recalculate a new route.
2. There is no "Recents" option when going to enter an address.
3. I no longer get trending suggestions.
4. I turned the "Destination Suggestions" setting off to see if toggling it would fix it. When I start the car again it automatically turns back on. My hypothesis is that this setting is actually not on and not working correctly.

I plan to do a master reset when I get a chance to see of that works. Doing a soft reboot (track forward + volume down) did not work.

Just got that update this morning, but from my experience the Ford Nav was wonky before to the point where I quit using it and switched over to Apple Maps via CarPlay!

Recents and Saved locations were gone for me as well. The buttons are now down the left side of the screen vs across the top but I am guessing that isn't what you are talking about. I am guessing that you see them now on the left side and when you make those selections they are empty.

Try selecting another profile and then going back to your profile. That did the trick for me.

I haven't had any issues with suggestions staying turned off so I can't offer any help there....

1.7.1 seemed to install slowly over a couple days for me. It was almost like with each start/stop cycle things slowly ironed themselves out. Maybe it will be self correcting.

Same for me. Took a couple days to unpack and install itself. Not sure that is how it works.....just how it appears on my end.

Oh crap. That isn't ideal.

Edit. I went back and read your original post. Sounds like that has been missing since the update. Sounds like that software didn't load correctly.

I been stuck in 1.7.1 for 3 weeks or more shows I have it but doest show any of the 1.7.1 features. Now I see my auto update wont turn on it grayed out. Should I do a master reset or do you have other thoughts how to resolve.

Yeah that's what mine looks like except no recents.

Well I did the master reset and that fixed #2. It will take time to know if the other issues are fixed.

One thing to note, setting up everything (including PaaK) was much easier this time compared to when I did it in April. So things have improved!
