I have had my car for about 4 months and my Android Auto has generally worked fine.

In the last couple of weeks however I have started to experience a number of issues:
- more lag overall and in giving voice commands
- sometimes a phone call initiated through AA will connect but the radio will keep playing and the call wont connect. I can see that AA has made the call and the caller is connected but the audio is not switching over to the call.
- similar to above, I will initiate a playlist on Spotify through AA voice command and the screen will show that Spotify is playing, but the audio is still coming from the radio (even though AA/Spotify is selected and featured on the screen).

Has anyone else experienced any of this? Any ideas of how to resolve? Thank you.

I haven't experienced any of those issues personally. Sounds more like an AA update bug than an issue with the car. What phone? Do you have AA up to date on play store?

hmm..I'm on S22u. What if you unpair the phone and remove the car from AA and redo all that? Did it just start with the S22?

I've just transitioned from a S10+ to a S22+ and had zero AA issues or PAAK issues through it

Hi there. Can you send us a DM with your VIN and dealership info? I can look into this for you.

I tried deleting my phone and then reconnecting it to bluetooth.
Now its not connecting to AA at all.
When I try, the car asks me to enable wireless projection for Android Auto, the phone says its ready for Android Auto and to connect on the car, and then the car just says "connecting" and then eventually returns to the menu but nothing happens and its not connected....

This happened to me yesterday oddly enough (I have a Pixel 3) and I'm curious if we had the same issue or just bad luck that is overlapping. I had the exact same issue of andriod auto not being detected upon starting, then when I was prompted to connect and selected my phone, it would just appear to be processing for minutes on end before kicking me back to the main menu.

I tried turning the car on and off multiple times and restarted my phone and still could never get it to connect. Ultimately I powered off my car and my phone at the same time and left them both alone to think for 30 minutes. When I powered them both on, my Android Auto was detected automatically. It was infuriating and weird but it sorted itself out.
