When I stop the car then pull the driver window open/close button all the way to make the window close completely and turn off the car right away the window stops in the middle. I don't think the car behaved like that before? Can anybody confirm this change?

On my car (at 4.2.3) the window keeps going after shutting the car off.

One thing to remember, if a door is opened (or the car thinks a door is open) the windows stops when you shut off the car.

Hi there. Can you send us a DM with your VIN and dealership info? I can look into this for you.

Sent.

Just tried to reproduce. The exact steps to reproduce this bug are:

1. Turn on the car
2. Open the driver window all the way.
3. Pull the driver window button all the way to close it completely
4. Before the window gets closed do the following
1) Turn off the car
2) Open the driver door
The window stops closing in the middle or wherever it was when opening the door.

That’s normal operation. See post 7.

Strange. Why is it normal?
You would have to ask the engineers at Ford. I have no idea why it’s designed that way.
Basically everything that runs in 12V accessory mode (radio, HVAC, windows…etc.) stays on after shutoff until a door is opened.

Ok, makes sense, but shouldn't it finish the job first?
