Issue 1, setting the departure times in the car a few weeks ago I noticed it kept flopping AM & PM randomly. Finally got it to save with m-f 8 am departure and m-f 5:25PM. been working as expected.

Issue 2, got a message this morning at 5:48 am indicating cabin temperature is ready.

As a software architect I've created and implemented various scheduling functionalities in applications over the years. I don't understand how they could go to production with issues like these. I suspect there may be duplicate data points for some time slots as it appears to be showing the latest but may be acting on stale data. Obviously an educated guess and I could be completely wrong.

Just got another notification shortly after 8 AM that the cabin temperature is ready. So my theory somewhat holds up. When saving the schedule I had to save a few times because the AM/PM swapping issue.

I'll attempt to delete all and start over but I really hope this is resolved in later updates.

Iā€™m really annoyed with the Departure Times feature. It can not be trusted. I have never gone a week without it getting it wrong at least onceā€¦ averaging easily twice a week, using departure times, the feature will not work as intended.

it either ignores a setting all together and I walk out to my car completely covered in frost and freezing in the cabin, or I get a notification at 1am in the morning to say my desired cabin temperature is ready. Itā€™s so annoying.

I have to remind my self to check the app or my car 15 min before every departure to make sure itā€™s working. Easily 25% of the time it does not work.

Can't fix the software problem, but you can set an alarm on your phone to check it each day.

Got my pony last week and I have the exact same issue with am and pm sometimes confusing the software.
I have a feeling that the scheduling is very strangely implemented and that there are multiple scheduling going on at the same time. Its not often I can change the charge times without getting errors.

Departure times failed me for the first time this morning. I use them all the time and they had been functioning as expected. Hoping it's a one-off and not the start of a trend.

Just had departure time fail on me this morning. First time trying it with car plugged in. Was all excited since it's especially cold today. Thought it'd be great to have a nice warm car and warm battery to walk out to. Instead I had to sit in my driveway while my windows defrosted/de-iced.

Should I be worried that my car's going to try conditioning itself at 9pm tonight instead of 9am this morning?

Just jumping on the band wagon. Will departure time work if outside of your preferred charging time? thanks

I've had a couple of AM PM flips even after deleting the configuration and starting over.

The app should show the departure time, you can delete it and start over. I wouldn't worry if it tries at 9PM, if it does it times out and shuts off. I do think the app is buggy and could be easier to use. At times it shows that the car is Preconditioning when it's really not. My question is will the car start to precondition if the battery is not at it's set Max SOC.
For example if the max charge setting is set to 80% and I have the charge time set from 12-7 am
and departure time set for 7:45am, will the car be ready by 7:45?
If the battery is at 79% will the preconditioning begin or will it wait for the charge to reach 80%?

I'm still charging on a 120v so I have no expectation of my car reaching my set 80% during the week.

But I can confirm that departure time still works even if it didn't hit the 80%. My departure time seems to be working fine since that one bug and I've never hit 80% during any of those. Closest I've gotten was 75%.

Iā€™ve had my car since the end of October and have had it condition the cabin maybe five times. Iā€™ve set the schedule in the car, in the app, in the carā€¦every other time I go in the check it, the schedule is gone. Just for giggles I checked it just now and sure enough, no departure time. Since I have a garage parked car and live in SoCal Iā€™m not too worried but it is annoying.

My other issue has been charging. It consistently charged to 100%, no matter what the settings. A couple of days before I took it to the dealer for that very problem it magically charged to 90%. Dealer said they couldnā€™t find a problem but would check with Ford. Ford told them everything is fine and operating to specification. Really?
It has been more consistent with charging to 90% now, except last night. It stopped at 90% around three in the morning, but I havenā€™t been out there to unplug, so at some point he decided to charge himself all the way to 100%.

But what a fantastic car! We just tell people he is an amazing drive with some interesting quirks!
