It is a lot smoother ride than my old 2006 Mustang GT I had before it. It is also a quicker car. I would rather be in it than my wife's Explorer also.
I guess that just goes to show all of us that a smoother ride is subjective but comparing a 2006 Mustang to a 2024 Mustang is kind of......subjective as well. I mean pairing 18 years of tech advancements against each other......yeah well.

I never had a problem with my MMe’s ride. It’s perfect as far as I’m concerned.

The 2024 is a replacement for a 2023 GTPE I had that got totaled when it got rear ended on the freeway in August, but the 2024 GT seems to be the same as the 2023 GTPE. It has the same seats and magneride like the GTPE. The 2006 I traded in for the 2023 GTPE. I have had several mustangs. I think the one I have now is number 7. The newest one is the most fun of all of them. It is also the quietist one.

I do think their technology and deep pockets from Saudi fund will keep them around, but I've certainly thought about that as a big bet I'm making.

Closest service center is 45 minutes away (downtown Chicago), but they do provide mobile service and take the car there themselves if they can't fix it mobile. Whereas I have 3 Ford dealers 15 minutes from my house. One of them hopefully will be EV knowledgeable.
My Ford dealer is 2 miles away and promotes themselves as a Ford EV ‘super-center’, having their own EV ‘master technician’ on staff, so I guess that’s a ‘thing’ worth looking for amongst the fleet of Ford dealers.

After close to two years of ownership I'm well aware of how the suspension behaves on a GT equipped with the magenride suspension. I stand by what I said.
I just added a ‘12 Mustang v6 to my driveway and first thing wife says when we went for an evening cruise is, this rides a lot better than the E!?, I have to agree it does.

She just said that because it was a beautiful day and the top down magic.
Oh, and what's the mileage?
You can't brag that worn shocks are a smoother ride. ???

(nice grab. Good looking ride)

We love our MME. It's not a GT like most of the folks posting in this thread. It is a Select AWD and my wife would rather drive the MME than any other car we have had. The back seat is a little bumpy but we don't sit in the back. LOL. If you are undecided there may be ways that you can drive a car for a period of time without fully committing long term. We were able to take advantage of the Ford Options program that is no longer offered but you may find someone looking to get out of there current situation by transferring the loan agreement to you. And if they only have a year or so (or even less), you could continue the payments and then either trade it in or just turn it in at the end of the term sort of like a lease. Ford usually wrote the term at 4 years so there should be some 2021's and maybe 2022's available. To be honest, we are one of those looking to sell/transfer the vehicle but not because we don't love it. We are looking to take advantage of some incentives and other issues in our state to move up to a Lightning. We are probably to far away from you anyway as far as our vehicle is concerned. But maybe you can find something similar in your area. You wind up with a short term rental and can figure out if you like the general vehicle before you order your GT.

Good luck with your decision and we think you will enjoy the ride.
