I have a subscription to FDRS and update the modules in my car. I log the module part numbers before and after. After an OTA, I can do a car network scan with FDRS, get the module part numbers, and see what changed.

Forscan can be used to get the main firmware part number, labelled strategy. It is only part of the story as I noticed FDRS will display other part numbers in a window below the module list when a module is selected. Digging further, the APIM and GWM have multiple firmware components with their own part numbers. This makes sense to me as it allows Ford to add or update things like the recent notes app. When there is an update, the version numbers are checked to see if an update is required.

hhhhmmmmm, so it is certainly POSSIBLE for Ford to generate a list of changed/updated modules in any given OTA, and consider generating a list with perhaps some meaningful bullet summaries of the changes in each module.

It sure would be nice, since *most* of us do not have FDRS, and have no way to see even what modules get updated.

I swear I had Ford's Power Up v.2.4.1 in my SYNC4 but it was reverted back to v.2.1 after TSB 21-2245 was performed to restore the functionality of pre-collision. This past week took my car to do the glass & sunroof recall but the dealer couldn't do it instead they did CSP 21P22 (another long winded drama!!!) ... and miraculously my SINC4 display v.2.4.1 ... now I can participate in the survey that Early Access Program send me to review this upgrade.

It would even be possible to downgrade with any OTA .

A year subscription in the Netherlands is 3300 euro, so a bit expensive to log ota versions....

Did you get PowerUp 2.4.1?

1. Yes, in the last day or two. I’m excited. BlueCruise is Coming.
2. Yes. I have horns and lights. The notes say so!
3. Yes, big deal. I’ve had horns and lights since the car was new. Fix the Frunk.
4. 1.7.1. Enough said.
5. I have 1.6 or earlier. I’d kill to be stuck on 1.7.1. Literally.
6. No. Ford hates me. I’ll get it on “National Pop Goes the Weasel Day”, 2057.
7. No and I’m not talking about it.
8. Why? Ford Never Fixes Anything.
9. Why? Ford Breaks everything.
10. What’s an OTA?
11. What’s a PowerUp?
12. I don’t have my Mach-e yet. Does anyone know why it’s not showing in Palsapp?
13. No, has this happened to anyone else?

I got the 2.1 and 2.3 OTAs in Jan. After the CSP done by the dealer in Feb, I got a message in the car that I got 2.1 again. Something in the CSP must be the same as 2.1. I never did get a FordPass notice about the second one.

I'm waiting for Microsoft Flight Simulator, in fly over the Rockies mode, while I'm parked at the edge of the Mogollon Rim. ? ?‍✈
I’m waiting for them to port Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise so I can work on PowerPoint charts while charging (have I mentioned that my professional life sucks? ?)
