new recall Airbag?

Fordpass is telling me I have 1 recallg. It says airbag recalled for exploding airbag? This just started today

I suggest taking it to your dealer.

I see the same thing. But it's not listed among the recalls. And also the affected vehicles section doesn't list MME. So it looks like a general message about Takata airbags recalls which is not really applicable to our cars.

I regularly get a letter from Ford about the airbag recall of a Ford Edge that I bought in 2009 and was also totaled in 2009.

Make sure you're not reading the recall for another Ford you own. I have 2 vehicles in FordPass, one of which has zero FordPass capabilities because it's a 2013. It has an active recall, which will not go away, because it's a warranty extension on a part that might go bad someday.

I just got this notification also. I'm scheduled to take it in for windshield recall and firmware updates on Monday. I'll ask about it when I drop it off. May call and just wait if they don't have the airbags yet.
