Could you post a photo of the Carplay homescreen in expanded mode? Quite surprising to see it look like a totally different layout! Buttons and cell status on the bottom, etc.I havenāt seen anyone post this yet. It is widely known CarPlay directions in the IPC was coming. That works, but I did notice the other day thereās a new large format mode for CarPlay. Not sure if this is iOS 15/iPhone 13 only? Anyone else with a GT have this work? Anyone with iOS 15 have this work on older sync software? Curious if it works with power up 1.7.1.

...and set the options to make the corners of CarPlay square instead of round rects so we can have it seamlessly blend into the rest of the SYNC UI.
Agreed. The only useful thing in that banner space is the expand/shrink button, which could be relocated to the top, bottom, or even into the volume knob as a quick double click or something.

The full screen CarPlay appears to be a later version than 1.7.1. Whatever version the GTs are shipping with. Probably the one that delivers Blue Cruise.

Same here! Iām not sure I like the landscape map on the Home Screen, but the added screen real estate is nice.
The way tile view is implemented looks pretty poor. Iād much prefer if the Map took up two ātileā spaces vertically as opposed to horizontally. I had the same thought. The good thing is Apple could always update that, Ford doesnāt have to do anything.
