I’m curious to see what the rumor mill is pointing to for when the next Mach-E redesign would be. Wonder if Ford will keep the same design for 10 years (like Tesla) - probably unlikely.

If I had to guess…2026?

Any ideas or guesses?

I think it will be 2025, and have a NACS charging port. Hopefully also improvements in thermal regulation for the batteries. Maybe adding a heat pump to make heating the cabin more efficient. Better charging curves on fast chargers. And sure, remote opening frunk as well.

While a Tesla charging port will come to future EVs in 2025, I take that to mean new models, not existing.

Ford announced back in 2021 that the Mach-E would continually evolve, and not wait for model years. I don't expect a redesign, i.e. change in appearance, at least until 2026, if then.

I don't think it's a secret that the Gen 2 EVs will come out starting in 2025, this includes a redesigned Mach-E and F-150 Lightning. I'm expecting it to be a lot more aerodynamic to come closer to Tesla Model Y efficiency, 800V architecture, and have a complete revamped module architecture that's simpler and purpose built rather than recycled ICE modules.

I also think they have a smaller/cheaper EV coming based on the Puma that will hopefully compete with the Bolt/Model 3, and a larger 3-row SUV to complete with the EV9. Hopefully all will have NACS.

NOTE: These are 3rd part renders, which should be a good guess but are not the actual product.

There was a recent test mule spotted with some camouflage, but appeared to be just headlights. It’s assumed they were testing the matrix style lighting that Europe uses and (I believe) was finally approved here too

They may have announced it, but did they do it? Seems to me the 2022 and 2023 "evolutions" have been just as trivial as any old car model between redesign/refresh years.

If it were to end up looking like that, I don't think anyone would call it a Mustang!
Not even Ford would call it a Mustang lol I wouldn’t buy the Mach-E if it looked like that.

Ford Pass has remote ftunk button on Home Screen at the bottom next to windows and trunk buttons
Not for 2021 Job 1 cars. Just ask @Jimrpa ?? Oh, and for the first few months of ownership, I didn’t even have any of those buttons in the second row because Ford’s login procedures are stupid. ??

I don't think that was suppose to be a Mach-E render:

" I also think they have a smaller/cheaper EV coming based on the Puma "

Thanks, super. You're right, I read the earlier post incorrectly.
