No display and a chime??!

My display went out mid drive early today, was fine on the drive home. I just went and took it out of the garage and there's no display again and it is making an odd light chime. I tried remote start earlier to leave work and it failed repeatedly. Help!

Which display? If it's the large, main display, try pressing the right arrow and volume down for about 10 seconds. That should basically reset that display. If that doesn't get it working again, it's probably a larger issue and you'll want to schedule service.

Not a good display to go out. Chances are your 12volt battery is dying/dead. Any alerts in Fordpass?
Remember these things came with roadside assist, do use it if needed.

Try the Sync restart (don't think it'll help but can try)
Then get out of the car with it shut off and lock it and leave it alone for 30 min if you can. If it doesn't come back up after that I'd point at the LV battery and put in a call to roadside.

Also you can try turning off AC/ radio and Headlights, if the chime gets louder it's the 12v.
Be aware you have to pull the big panel in the back to get to the 12v battery. Those clips are almost $5 each

To be clear, you have to pull the big panel in the back of the frunk (not the back of the car.)

12 volt is measuring at 14.4. and the display came on just now. I'll give my tech a call in morning

If they have to order that display your car will be there for about 2 weeks. Someone at Ford writes the ODO miles into the new one then ships to the dealer, so the dealer legally shouldn't let you have the car back until it's replaced with the matching miles. I confirmed that when mine was replaced a few months ago.

Fabulous. It came back on today for the ride to work. I'm dropping it at dealership Fri morning.

It is the instrument cluster. Needs a new one. Luckily it is in stock!
