I love my car, but this came as a complete shock on my basic RWD model. Surely with such a wide vehicle, electrically operated side mirrors should be standard on even the basic model? I have the heated steering wheel and seats! I'm wondering if they actually plumbed in the electric side mirrors and just didn't enable them. Is that wishful thinking on my part?! Has anybody got a solution to upgrade to electrically operated side mirrors at a reasonable cost?

You had to hunt for it but it was in the fine print of the specs. I presume you mean no electrically folding mirrors and not electric heated mirrors? I assume getting hold of the folding versions and fitting would cost ÂŁÂŁÂŁÂŁ's. Plus the folding versions have cameras in for the 360 degree view. I doubt that all the necessary wiring will be there to change the mirrors plus the programming involved for the car to realise different mirrors have been fitted plus a new switch assembly on the door panel?

I didn't even know any cars come without electric side mirrors anymore.

It’s interesting, I was going to say this isn’t a wide vehicle, but then realized you posted in the UK forum and the average roads and vehicles are different than in the USA.

I could see an American at Ford making this decision and thinking it’s not a particularly desired feature.

The base model UK Mach-E does have electrically adjustable mirrors, they're just not powerfolding.

I would assume as our base is effectively your Select model with no options it's the same over in the US?

Correct. That's what I meant to say.
