Anyone in the Uk updated to a 2025 MY. I currently have a May registered 2022 RWd extended range with 27000 miles on that I purchased new. Has anyone upgraded to a 2025 Model year with the heat pump and stalk drive shift. Be interesting to hear have there been any other improvements ie with the suspension. Looking at a new BMW IX3 soon, just I prefer the looks of the Mach e.
thank you

Nearly swapped my ‘21 for a new MME last Christmas but the froot reduction and lack of other things - kick to open boot and more - so gave up on that idea.

My dealer kept putting me off replacing my 2021 MME with a 2025 as they said the AWD Premium was not going to be available for the UK market. (Trying to steer me towards a Crapi or the other VW based square box). After looking at prices and potential wait (if available) I went for something else that is made in Germany. A curse shall fall upon me if I ever utter the words. 😭

Yes I am not amused about the 25 either considering that I am happy with my current 23.75 even it already laks stuff that was in my former 22.25. its getting worse with 26. so I am not sure if the newer mmes will attract mme rebuyers.
mho.

2024+ GTs have much better thermal endurance

2025s are the only car in the current Ford lineup with Blue Cruise 1.5. Not only its hands free, but its hands-on lane centering in the non Blue Cruise mapped zones is excellent

Really a great pleasure to drive / have it drive for me, and relieves a lot of burden. I also greatly prefer the shift stalk

Thats true but in the eu we are so far stuck on 1.1E. No benefit on that part. The stalk is for me personal a no go. Mho

I went from a 23.5 to a 25 GT. It is both 99.8% familiar, yet feels more refined (perhaps because of the new motor). New shifter is great and I never used the Frunk so it being smaller is no big deal to me. It’s still a great car.

Went from a 2021 Premium to a 2025. Much improved heating in cold weather. Overall more refined, including the suspension which is still tight but not as brutal on broken pavement. Cruise is much improved on hilly roads. Really pleased with the upgrade.

I switched from a 2021 Select to a 2025 Premium. The suspension is WAY nicer, and was the only reason I switched. I like that I was able to buy a premium without the glass roof. The seats are more comfortable, stereo is nicer. Shifter stalk is nice, but the dial was not difficult. Either one performs the same function and choosing one based on that alone would not make sense. I know the heat pump is supposed to be good. Does not do anything notable for me. I like the fact that this car has the safer battery tech in the standard range model. I like the wheels better. Everything is very nice.

Man, I love the kick to open boot, especially here in Canada in the winter when the car is coated with road salt grime and you can't touch the trunk release button without getting dirty.

Sometimes it’s the little things, those you never knew you wanted or needed which make the difference 😁

I didn't know you could get a 2025 MY GT in the uk.
Does it have the gear selection on the wheel stalk ?
plenty cars on the trader saying brand new but they are not a 2025 spec.

I’m on my second Mache. I had a 2021 for 2 1/2 years sold it and bought a BMW ix which I love. I just bought a 2025 RWD premium with the ext battery for my wife. I like the changes that were made. Display is nicer better charging info. Does charge faster. I like the stick shifter, easier to use. No sunroof which is better in Florida. The ride is about the same a little bumpy. Ix ride is smoother, charging is faster, all around better vehicle but cost twice as much. BMW does make excellent vehicles and the ix3 is very nice.
Both are nice vehicles and I like them both.

We went from a 2021 Premium to a 2025 Premium, and what a difference in the suspension! This is really my wife's car, but I drive it fairly often.

I don't know what they've done to the suspension, but the car no longer beats you to death on less-than-perfect roads.
