Groceries work fine in the back, why use the frunk
Multiple stops. Out of sight. The mobile charger is beneath the trunk false floor on the mme where it was when we bought it. I’ve used it once to make sure it really worked.

What’s winter?
Why are you buying food you don’t want to smell?
So they don’t smell the shrimp curry, brussels sprouts anchovy pizza for the next 17 weeks.

Lightning frunk cannot be opened in the garage, so we park outside
We can open the hood on our Raptor just fine in our garage. Putting groceries in there would be a big mistake though. The Mach-e is in a separate stall by itself and doesn’t have an issue with that either. It’s a detached garage though so if I have a trunk and frunk load of stuff I’ll stop by the house anyway.

Very sad. All that space taken up by a questionable heat pump
Not sure we'll know how questionable it is until after this winter :)

Aw common, just when we’re finally gettin a powered frunk mod 6 years later!

I fill my trunk, rear seats and front passenger seats all the time on the job, so dat frunk is an absolute godsend for a change o clothes, some drinks, a couple snacks and stuff.

Well, as I recall, ford has not significantly changed the advertised range from my 2021, so I think that says something 🙂

After three months, I've not put anything but the charging adapter in the frunk. It is just very small, and opening/closing it sucks compared to the tailgate.

I don't have a lot of miles on it so far. But the heat pump has been really great so far. I've only seen a 15% dip in range driving to work in 28F degree weather. Max Heat.
To improve it further in the winter… they can take all of the frunk space IMO

Aside from food, the frunk is incredibly useful for the kids' sports gear and fold-up chairs. Things that can live in the car but we don't use all the time.

Lack of a frunk wouldn't be a deal breaker but certainly would be a big con in cross shopping vehicles.

I usually forgot that I had a frunk on my '21 and '24, except when I needed gasoline. The 2025's frunk is too small for my five gallon gas can, though, so I'm back to smelling gasoline fumes whenever I need gasoline.

I don't drive far enough often enough in the winter to know yet whether or not the heat pump is an actual upgrade for me yet.

I ordered my '26, but I don't recall whether or not I opted for the frunk.
