I get the why, because of changing year/ordering/supply and all that, but technically with what you can order, they can no longer market that hey have a 300+ mile vehicle. The Select and GTs do 270 at best that can be currently built.

I don't mind waiting, but I do want the glass roof, premium sound, extended range AWD, and specific color. I'm not quite ready to pull the trigger, so I'm not looking to snipe a canceled order just yet.

If I'm understanding comments here correctly, it sounds like the premium model isn't gone entirely, but will be available again either for the model 2023 year, or when production numbers have reduced the size of the wait queue sufficiently; is that right? Any guesses when that's likely to be?

Someone on FB stated exactly this. It is closed to consumers, but he placed an order w/a dealership today.

CA route 1 and Premium are no longer available for MY22, they will be back for MY23, as supply chain issues continue, they may kill the GT/Select if needed.

You and many, many others reached the same conclusion. Hence no orders available for it or the Route 1. Time will tell if they open it back up at all for the ‘22 model year.

The 2022 MY orders opened on October 1 2021, so my guess is it will be around the same time for the 2023 orders which should include the Premium trim again.

We have covered this in previous threads, effective today the order banks for the '22 Premium and California Route 1 are closed, for now you can still order Select and GT trim levels, no surprise here at all.

I bet the copilot360 as reported as an impacted part in shortage is std on CA RT 1 and Premium. Not on GT or Select, right?

I think Ford had indicated they would be closing orders here soon. I did not realize it was only going to be for certain models. If you look at the F150 Lightning they do the same thing. It makes sense to me. If you know you already have a lot more orders than you can possibly produce, why would you want to keep adding more people to the que only to disappoint them later.

Is that way they tell us "it's all adrenaline from here"?
