No OTA updates after 5.1.1

My 23 mach e received 5.1.1 updates on late September, and hasn’t received any new updates since then. I contacted Ford support but was told this is expected because there is no new updates..

is that really the case? I see lots of discussion here for much newer versions..

The answer is yes there are newer updates but I do not know if there have been any pushed for your VIN. Some vehicles are up to 6.x and even some may have received 7.0. As for myself I have not received anything since August and nothing in the 6.x series yet. I do not have BC so I really do not care much and most of my OTA’s rolled in later.

Could it be that your 23 already has the things that my 21 is trying to catch up on ?
When you read about the new OTAs we're getting and the changes made ...does it sound like things you already have ??

Same boat here on my 22. Last update showing is the August radio update. Spoke to the Ford OTA hotline or whatever and they said I last received an update in September. FDRS showing a ton of outstanding updates for my vehicle. When I go in for the HVBJB recall I'll ask them to update everything.

I find the lack of transparency and consistency with updates extremely frustrating. I don't have to rely on Apple to push updates to me - I can go pull them when they are released. Why can't Ford do the same?!

Not really, there are some useful features or improvements I would like.

Yeah ford needs more effort on software stuff to compete with other ev brands..

Yes and you will see that (a) most of the people who have received the 6.x updates are in the Early Access Program, (b) there are lots of other folks with 2023 Mach Es who don't have any 6.x updates either, and (c) there are lots of threads out here discussing this.
