2025 MME GTPE (On Order)
My daughter is going to college in Maryland and I have a Mach e on order, so charging along the NJTP is something I am keenly interested in. I was a bit surprised that the Tesla chargers would not have been available for a Mach e after placing my order. Hopefully, the new chargers will get built soon and actually be reliable. Everything I've read does indicate Tesla has the most reliable network, with many other operators not maintaining the equipment.

I think it is a good move. The Applegreen chargers can be used by everyone. I think this will happen more and more across NA. Nothing against Tesla, it just makes good business sense to open the market to all EVs.
Tesla did bid, and offered to make the chargers Magic Docks and have screens. So they would have been accessible to all EV's. I'm not a huge fan of Tesla, but their chargers are hands down the best and most reliable.

Staffed amenities, including clean restrooms, food and sundries. Maybe those weren't required.

It makes his cars less attractive for NJ residents.
Fully understand that and stand by my words. He was willing to alienate 75% or more of his client base globally. He’s the richest man in the world. NJ business is small potatoes to the problems he has.

Chinese sales are tanking. EU the same except for the small Norway market, much of the US is down, although California remains a big buyer of Teslas. But then he keeps saying he doesn't like California - go figure.

When you factor in his role in eliminating the credit, his political alignment in the US, and his right wing extremist support, not sure how you get math not at least aligning to 75%. In the US also, EV ownership is extremely biased to the other party. Tax credits hit everyone. I’d say I was conservative most likely.
