As a 6 weeks owner of a 2024 MME with a base battery, I expected to get around 240-250 miles of range with my battery. Upon pickup, it registered only about 225. On subsequent recharges with my level 2 charger (using the 24A speed, not the max) the range has generally increased, almost every time. This morning the app reported that I have 295 miles of range at the 95% level, i.e., 310 miles at 100%. This seems wonderful, but the extreme variability makes me ask: could this be a problem with the app or the metrics, or even the battery itself? And/or how would I find out? (I know -- I could just sit back and enjoy extended range. My concern is only that it's illusory and that something isn't right.)

It changes depending on various factors like temperature and driving habits. Don’t pay too much attention to the guess o meter.

There are dozens, if not hundreds of threads, on the Guess-O-Meter.

Nothing is wrong.
It's an estimate, based on your driving history, and current climate. As it warms, it goes up. Next winter you'll want to post "what happened with my range, it's gone". Try not to.
The speed at which you charge is totally irrelevant to your range. Electricity is electricity. Doesn't matter the speed, or the place that provides it.

The range you will achieve on your next drive is based on how you drive, speed, climate, topography. Your This Trip will show you the efficiency you got on your current drive (before you shut off the car). Trip odometers also show efficiency.

You will learn the normal efficiency you get driving around locally, and then on the highway. That, times the battery size, is your normal range.

If you then hit the highway with a 20mph headwind and drive 85mph, you wont' get that normal range.

Hope this helps.
