I just found the comment amusing is all considering you mentioned it in your post. Those are all good features though. No CarPlay is a deal breaker for me.

After 3 years, I am sad to report I sold my ‘22 GT/PE. Over the last year my love for the car started to dissipate, the main screen became more and more glitchy, Apple Carplay stopped working, after 2 years I was still on my local dealerships waitlist for voltage issue (after Ford ordered the part and had it sent for my car to be repaired, yet they gave it to another customer), and then I was rearended a few months ago.

So, without further ado, I am the proud owner of the 2026 Cadillac Vistiq. To best honest, the Mache was great, but the Vistiq is on another level. I know price wise, they are in different league, but in just a few days I fell head over heels for the Vistiq.

No problem. As long as you don't buy a Chinese car, you'll be my friend. We don't have the Vistiq in France, but it surely looks kice and comfy.

Honestly, I felt the same way until I tried it. My initial comment was more about the fact Carplay never worked and required constant updates on the phone and restarting the car multiple times to correct a glitch. So, not having Carplay isn’t as big of an issue as I would have initially thought.

Drove a Vistiq, Lyriq, and Optiq today and you made a nice upgrade. Love our Mach E but wouldn’t hesitate to get a Vistiq or Lyriq. The Optiq is nice, but too much road noise compared to the Mach E which was a surprise. Wife has a Lyriq on her shortlist. It’s nice to have options!

Anytime I have looked into upgrading a car, I am not sure I've ever researched if CarPlay was an option. Need to be mindful of that in the future.

Now, SiriusXM on the other hand, I always looked for. Albeit, these days, with the limited distance for driving to work and such, not sure it is really needed...

Don’t get me wrong the new Cadillac/GM interface is good. All of my lists, iTunes, etc… work on their interface. It’s just not a better app/music interface.

It looks nice and it’s a different type of vehicle, more of a comfortable family-mobile.
For a sportier look, ride and feel I’d stick around with my MME GT.

You’re not a traitor, it seems like for where you are in your life you need a different type of ride.

Seriously, nice choice!!! Saw one on the lot before I even heard of the car. Been trying to talk the wife into the Lyriq. But the Vistiq is a greeat Family Hauler!!!
