Only use wired CarPlay

Hey gang, I’m trying to figure out how to use CarPlay only through the wired usb connection, not wireless or Bluetooth. I’ve been through numerous YouTube videos and articles but can only get it to either not work/not connect at all, or only work over wireless even if it’s plugged in (makes no sense but this is happening).

Any tips, tricks, pointers on what I’m missing? Much appreciated.

Mine works fine. I always plug mine in since the wireless charger doesn't work that great for Iphone 12 pro

Go into the BT connection settings on your phone.

Click on the connection settings for your car.

Uncheck Car Play
