I'm still on 6.14 from a few weeks ago, but whenever someone posts this you better believe I run out to my garage to check lol. I did get 3 in a row once simply by spamming the update page, so I'm a believer in Ford unlocking your VIN for updates for a time period. Keep refreshing till they stop!
Spamming the update page? Please explain.

On main screen, click on Settings (middle top icon)
Click on "Software Updates"
Wait to see if you have any
Click on "Ford Assistant" (or any other page to move off Software Updates)
Click back on "Software updates" again
Wait to see if you have any
Repeat until you go blind

I did this 5-6 times when I got 3 updates in a row once. It reported "no updates" the first few times, then had one ready to run. Clicked "update" and kept it going. Easily the most exciting day in my MachE lol.

My FordPass app shows my last update as being the charger update on April 5, October 2021 GT-PE, non-EAP. ?‍♂?
Annnd… Of course the 6.14 update installed last night. ROFL. ??

Refreshing your Updates screen in-car will only gear your car up to either download or install an update that has been queued for your VIN by Ford (in the case of downloading), or downloaded already (in the case of installation). There are dependencies that may trigger a following update if multiple updates are queued for your VIN. In no case will continuous refreshing of your Updates screen make a new update be queued for your VIN. ?‍♂?

I loved this idea and gave it a try, but unfortunately it did not yield any fruit.
Thanks for the suggestion.

1. Turn Automatic Updates ON
2. Set Recurring Update Schedule to Everyday at a custom time. Recommended time to be after a morning or evening commute so the 12v battery gets a charge.
I have found something similar helped. I have updates set to 1am every night and since my car auto starts charging the battery pack at 9pm every night with off peak times the 12v will always be charged when it’s looking for an update.

I did also. The only change I can see in my radio is that it no longer allows ACDC or Whitesnake.?
So it’s higher class now!!! Try some Barry Manilow, I bet it let’s you do that???

So I guess I was mistaking the 12v charge level as the main batter charge level. It's not at all obvious.

Yes, this page lists your 12V charge level. Agreed that it isn’t obvious unless you remember that the page is the same for the ICE vehicles as well. Ford should add three little characters (12V) to that little box inorder to avoid this confusion, but maybe their web provider charges them per character. ?‍♂?

Actually, I am kind of impressed by the pace of OTAs to my car over the last couple of months. I’ve gotten 5 I think? In two months, basically unheard of.
I got three in one day last year. I just got two last Friday, 6.8 and some PU one, then got 6.14 this morning.

I’m all for updates that actually provide new features. Bug fixes sound more like things the shouldn’t have made it to the car in the first place….

I don’t know my 2015 Mustang received exactly 0 updates in the 9 years/100k miles I had it. First and foremost I want the car to drive well and not need to be in the shop.
Well your 2015 mustang was not OTA capable. Cars have more compute in them than ever before and people want OTAs and new features added to the car. That introduces the possibilities of bugs. Trust me, if engineers could always write bug-free code we would. But there’s just so much complexity with modern systems that stuff will slip through even with QA.

I think most people are happy with their vehicles rarely receiving updates unless it makes a noticeable improvement and has a very small possibility of requiring them to take their vehicle into a shop.

Then there are enthusiasts who are checking FDRS every 10 minutes to see if Ford pushed something new.

No disagreement here but the current vehicle market definitely is pushing towards OTAs with adding features over time. Unfortunately the Ford EV software environment means you generally need multiple updates to get that “one” new feature. And each update presents a new chance for bugs. There have certainly been a few too many updates that have resulted in shop visits for owners… Hopefully that changes with gen2 EVs with the reworked vehicle architecture.
