Guys, I’ve owned the car for about 2 weeks but with vacation only been able to play with it a handful of days.
During the initial set up I was successful with PAAK. Then I was one of those affected by the mysterious “Master Reset”. Since then I’m unable to set up PAAK. AM I ALONE IN THIS???

Mine did this. I had to erase everything and start over and then it works. However, mine still gets stuck trying to connect.

I've never been able to get it to connect. I'll keep with the fob.

Just picked up the car yesterday. Successful setting up PaaK for an iPhone, but cannot get network to connect for an Android device. Has anyone noted any trends between these two platforms?

Update: 1st Weekend using PAAK. First of all it did not strand me anywhere. I took about 5 or 6 trips this weekend with out the Fob. ***Lesson #1 It wants you to have the App open. If my App was open (not open and running in the backround, I mean up on the screen) it worked flawlessly. Not a single issue.

***The lone time I did not open my phone and make sure the app was running; my wife and I walked up to the car and it let me open the door and get it and the screens did their normal thing. However when I hit the Start button is said "key not detected". I calmly told her (car not wife) she did detect as key as she let me unlock and come inside the car. No reply from her, typical female can't admit when she's wrong. It was a scary 60 seconds; thinking whom am I going to have to call to pick me up or bring me my fob. However, after about a minute and maybe it was 30 sec; just seems longer when your like "Holly S****". The car started. IMO if the app is not up and running and I don't mean it is still running in the backround (as mine was) it may take your Mach E a minute or so to "shake hands" with your phone. I have an i phone Xr. My car did receive the PAAK patch. Prior to that PAAK did not work.

I totally understand everyone's situation is different and God knows we all know each car and phone are not acting the same. I'm just sharing my experience this weekend as I have learned a tremendous amount from the forum with owners sharing their experiences. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday; back to the Salt Mines tmw!!
