PAAK on Approach?

Just wondering if my phone in my pocket should work to open the doors when I push the button, without me having to take the phone out of my pocket, launching the FordPass app and pulling down to refresh it. What what is this PAAK for??

Mine typically works without me launching the app or taking my phone out of my pocket. Though, there are occasions I have to take those steps.

That's because it's true. Just leave it running in the background if you want to use PaaK.

Yes, your phone must be running Ford pass app in the background ALWAYS / all the time (not when using the app only).

When you get close, it uses Bluetooth to connect to your phone and identifies your phone as PAAK.
