This happened to me today: I had just parked the car, got out of it, and PaaK walk-away locked it (great!). I then decided my parking job was abysmal, so I went back in to fix it. Well, the car wouldn't recognize my phone, so I enter the door code (happens all the time with my phone, so not surprised). But, the car wouldn't start even with the FordPass app open, saying Bluetooth is disconnected. I enter my passcode on the Sync screen, it thinks for a bit, then fails with "unspecified system error" (or a similar message; I don't remember because the error message didn't stay up for more than 3-4 seconds). I tried several times with a couple passcodes (primary and backup phones), and they both errored out the same way.
I was parked in a garage with poor (but somewhat useable) AT&T signal. I had to restart my phone for Bluetooth to connect, and PaaK worked after that. After repositioning my car (deeper into the garage, really), the passcode worked without issues. My question is: Does the PaaK passcode require internet connectivity? I don't see why it would, but I also don't see why it would randomly error out, and then work properly a few minutes later.
I've had all updates: the customer satisfaction one, and all OTAs up to 2.3.
