Hello, All. How is PaaK performing for Google Pixel users after the Android OS update to fix Bluetooth connectivity? Please reply to thread with your experience.
Pixel 7 pro here. Just walked out to my car with no keys but with my phone. Door does not open. I even just redid the paak setup a couple of weeks ago.
After I opened FordPass I was finally able to open the door after about a 5-second delay. So maybe it's better? But it's annoying having to pull my phone out of my pocket and open the app to unlock my car. Doesn't save any time over just having the key in my pocket which works with me just walking up to it.
Pixel 8 Pro here. Had to remove PaaK and start over. It took several tries to complete the setup, mostly due to the part about going to an open space (to get a good wireless connection).
Once that was done, it became necessary to disable the Bluetooth connection to the car (2021 job 2 Premium extended range) then reconnect in order to get PaaK to unlock the door.
Gave up on Pixel 8A. Stranding me once away from home was enough. Got a Galaxy 25. That solved all my nagging bluetooth problems, including PAAK. There has been one instance where I had to remove the Galaxy 25 from my pocket. Otherwise two door button jabs usually opens it. Sometimes only one. Life is good.
